Join Career & Academic Advisor Winnie Heh for an introductory workshop on process and project management.
Winnie Heh is Career and Academic Advisor for the Translation and Interpretation Programs at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. Prior to joining MIIS in summer of 2016, she spent 25 years in the language services industry in a wide variety of capacities. Her talent in change management was recognized early by her mentors and managers which resulted in an interesting career creating new services, systems and work units as well as successfully integrating all 5 acquisitions her former employer made into their operating system.
She also worked as a conference interpreter and taught interpretation at MIIS. She earned a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpretation from MIIS.
She received extensive training in quality management and has applied her learnings in her daily work in the last 25 years, be it as a single contributor or VP of Global Operations with 6,000 employees around the globe. In her talk, she will cut across the boundaries of various schools of theory and share the gems she has found among them.
